Dynamics and determinants of wood based products market in the Slovak Republic

This project deals with the examination of the dynamics of wood based product markets and identification of the key determinants influencing demand, supply and trade on this market. The main objective of the project is to develop market models for basic products of wood processing industry applying the methods of econometric analysis. In order to develop such models, analysis of the present state and conditions of wood utilisation in the wood processing sector in Slovakia and identification of price and income factors influencing market shall be carried out. The project outputs will be quantified and verified market models of selected wood based products produced in the sector of wood processing.
