Proposed project is focused on the research of disintegrated wood bark utilization of economical important species as partial replacement of commonly used fillers into the adhesive compositions used in the manufacture of wood composites. Attention will be directed to qualification and quantification of bark type, to size fraction, to its proportion in filler and to filler proportion in the adhesive mixture. Effect of the adhesive mixture modified by bark will be examined from the point of view of composite forming process, impact of heat transfer in the process of pressing and effect to selected mechanical, physical and chemical properties of final composite.
